”Not For Play, Pt. II” “Who ranks as the Highest? One who has no desire at all, not even for enlightenment. One who has no attachments, One who is free from doubt. One who has gone beyond that which you can understand.”
Buon Giorno again. For the past couple of days, I was trying to figure out which was the best way to go about updating on and around my birthday. While I didn’t want to do a complete blowout like I did with the original Not For Play, I still wanted to do something that would really stand out.
As you know, I’ve been spending my time recently back home. It’s only for a short while but after being gone for over a year, it has been really good to take a good look at the little things, and take a really good look at my roots. So far it’s been great, and I know it’ll show in the long run. As far as updates, this will be a bit like what I did last year only this time I have three entries in store.
Not in any particular order, but I have two new photo albums. “The City” focuses on how I spent my birthday which was tearing up New York City with my original clique: my family. Note that a lot of the photos may feel similar and that is because I wanted to go for the endless skyline feel. “Where It Started” focuses on my where I came from with splices of my younger self in the mix. Since I only decided to use one of the cities I grew up in, namely Elizabeth, NJ, be sure to expect more where that came from.
Last but not least, I have a new feature that I’ve been really looking forward to put out for a while:
It has a bit of a ring to it, doesn’t it? Anyway, this is the first entry in a series of extended titles that will focus on the contrast between growing up then and now. Your feedback is highly encouraged here, and I’ll definitely work towards making sure the additional entries will be included in a timely matter. The last note from an update standpoint is that next update will posted a week from now.
There are a couple of reasons for this with the first obvious one being that, I am on vacation. Second, I’m road tripping with the said clique down to the good ol’ Sunshine State: Florida. I’ll be heading down with a pen, pad, and camera so alongside enjoying the last week of my vacation, I’ll have more material in store for the future.
Don’t worry; there won’t be a follow up to “Why We Fall” or anything like that..
