What. A. Week. Just a quick update on what could’ve been: I was working on a Top Billing: Nas project for the site with a show that took place this weekend being the final piece of the puzzle. As things turned out, I got a lot more from that show than expected. So much so that I decided to compile a project that will take it to the next level. The release of this project will be disclosed at a later time but trust me, it’ll be well worth the time.
Moving on, I got around to seeing Iron Man III on Friday and it served to be the perfect opportunity to do a review on a recently released film. Here Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark in Marvel’s Iron Man III – which is the first film following the events that took place during The Avengers. How has the battle in New York affected Tony Stark? Will he be powerful enough to take on his dangerous opponent yet? These questions and more are answered in Top Billing: Iron Man III.
Last but certainly not least, I decided to put together an entry that would serve as a spoiler-free alternative to the Iron Man review as well as something that I feel we can all relate to, “The Thirst.” The things I’ve seen this weekend were motivation enough to put this entry together and even though it only took me about twenty minutes to put have ready, it is ironically the lengthiest entry to date. But don’t let that scare you: “The Thirst” definitely has a lot of ‘me’ in it and will be well worth your time to check out.
Oh and the final note is dealing with stepping things up when it comes to the site. I was able to get, how do I put this, a respectful response from the security and management at the venue that Nas was performing at this weekend mainly due to the fact that I am probably the best when it comes to taking to strangers on a short notice. Well that and the fact that I threw together a half decent press kit an hour before showtime.
The only issue I have with that is that I’m not looking to settle for ‘decent’ with anything I do – RNazaire.com included. Having said that, I’m back in the lab putting together a couple of things that will continue to set my work for the rest. More to follow on that. As always, you are all more than welcome to read, comment, and share whatever catches your eye. Thanks.
